team raffles. sure.

new team raffles polo tee coming out. i can't stand the way council and the school in general is so sports-oriented. like council arranges for match support for all sports and ask for match details and how the sport is played so they can now give out info sheets to supporters so they might know a bit of what's happening during the match. of course this is for nationals and what not. and while they will once again put up boards for the school to write messages to sports players when their seasons start to encourage them and screen flash facts and particulars of people on the rather useless tvs placed strategically everywhere around the school, basically nothing is done for the musical groups and non-sports CCAs. zzz. i do still think council is THE most inefficient and elitist organisation in school.

haha on the way home today i was listening to 9.38fm on the radio in the car, and they were playing 938 livewire, the game where there's some clue then listeners call in to give their answer and hopefully win some book or something. haha then quite often people call in with really weird answers. E.g. Q: What can you find in a home that could lower the risk of heart disease? A: Karoake set. =.= haha then today while i was tuned in, a "daniel" called in. lol i'm just blogging about this for the sake of blogging so let me reenact the scene...

DJ: hi who's on the line?
Caller: daniel.
DJ: hi daniel, i like your name. Aaaand what would be your answer?
(meanwhile, bennett listens and thinks to himself that "daniel"'s voice sounds very familiar and its quite a coincidence for a person with that name and whose voice sounded that way, coupled with the fact that bennett saw kai tsi at RJ carpark as he was leaving school)
Caller: a fish, in an aquarium.
(bennett strongly suspects that it is who he's thinking of)
DJ: ooooh i'm sorry daniel that's not the right answer. better luck next time.
(bennett messages the daniel he knows and asks whether he just called in to 938 live)
[5 minutes later] *Daniel Cheong calling*

haha and it turns out it really was him. so interesting. i am obviously desperately searching for some deviation in the routine that is J2 life. aaaand off to do more muscle building and mug econs and GP! XD

bleagh i really want to feel like i'm contributing with my singing T.T

i

i like 50 First Dates. its a nice sweet movie with an emotionally touching storyline. which would probably be quite unrealistic in the real world. but its very nice to watch.

i would like to have a vocal chord transplant.

i am at the point in my life again when there be many mixed emotions and feelings and thoughts scampering around in my head making me confused.

i am growing closer to my classmates. yay.

i hope that i don't spoil my relationships with chorale people during this time after all we've been through and because i know that in the end they are still my closest friends.

thinking in progress...

i realised i've been taking my class for granted. and considering i felt it was the best class i've ever been in at the start of last year (and i still do think so), i think i should treasure my wonderful classmates much much more. i will miss 3M dearly when the time comes to part :(( hope we'll have many more outings and chalets and house crashings and pool and captain's ball and mini class parties and what not. i really do miss all those times last year >.<

i'm wondering why all this mushy-ness is getting to me. now i think jian hao is actually a nice friend =S and that shuhui is quite human XD all these weird emotions and thoughts and feelings.

pick up sticks

1) i changed my blogskin! haha wonderful i managed to edit and what not in less than half an hour :p

2) take 5 was fun! our captain's ball team amazingly managed to get through first round (against some J2 class with like fuginn and gerard pro basketballers), then got thrashed 10-3 to a pro J1 team (with like 5 basketballers out of the the team of 7). haha we somehow managed to face off all the teams with basketballers. it was one of the extremely get-high times during our first match when we were all super enthu and excited throughout the match. and i love 3M lots <3 wanted to stay longer and eat lunch and blade or whatever with the 10+ guys who stayed back after take 5 to play captain's ball among ourselves (haha with trees at captains) but had to go home T.T anyway spent a dreary hour taking mrt with audrye ruiyi brenda joyce and ended up eating at pasta in BISHAN. because we couldn't decide what to eat at whitesands. its actually quite funny how we went all the way back to bishan to eat when we were at pasir ris. sigh.

3) my thoughts and feeling have become somewhat erratic since cny. hmm. haha.

4) yay i'm happy with my new skin

5) i<3M

6) ericcc's design for our class blog is way cool. thanks ericc =)

7) i can't get the comments link for my posts to work! somebody help!. and this makes 7 things i wanted to say in this post (:

Chorale Shout-outs #5

Min Si
EEEEEEEEEEEEE minsai! haha minsi is quite bad at suanning people and ends at getting suanned most of the time instead. heh. Despite her prata-throwing-into-other-people's-soup and pushing-people-into-tables-where-it-hurts-the-most tendencies, ching is mildly evil and laughs a lot. especially at julian. but then again everyone laughs at julian. HAHA. when asked about what she thought about julian: "we belong together!" no actually i said that about them but its inferred :D now for the nice things about mincy. hmm...let me think really hard. HAHAHAHA ok minsi is QUITE nice and VERY mad and is so much nicer after she's injured you or defiled your food XD nice crazy girl to be with. together with geet and jac, she's unstoppable. haha this is extraordinarily random but i just thought of a nursery rhyme that has totally no link to any of this while typing this last part :D

Geetha (and harry)
G. Swami a.k.a. harry pottu (pronounced po-tuh) XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD despite the outward violent and aggressive and lian image she projects (ok inward also :D), G. Swaminathan does exhibit some form of caring and shows concern under certain circumstances. When aggravated, this taekwando master will not hesitate to beat the aggressor to pulp. However, this gal's uhh...more sensitive nature presents itself when she twirls as gracefully as a duck doing her classical indian dance (which no one has actually observed before. at least no one alive has). apart from these, she is oddly funny most of the time and never fails to bring a smile (or a smirk) to people's faces. Typically vegetarian (please do not feed any meat).
haha XDDD geet is nice (:

Lois
HAHAHA i like lois =D lois is super funny. i love laughing at her laughing/cringing at certain weird things/things people do/people...like julian XD haha and lois laughs really funnily too. and for some reason people find it extremely funny when she TRIES to imitate me but obviously fails to do so (ending up doing a terribly lousy imitation in fact). but i like lois =DDD hi lois (:

Joseph
josie! jojo's (a.k.a. joelle) counterpart (just a random thought to amuse myself). joseph is a nice guy! not at all appearing to be a typical tennis jock/snob, joseph is a cool friend who does old uncle imitations the best :p foreseen to flirt with many girls/guys before settling down (hopefully with 1 girlfriend) and getting married in his late 20's *winks knowingly* joseph is going to treat bennett to desert at some exquisite eatery sometime this year because bennett feels like it :) i think joseph would make a good big brother (:

Valerie
VALLLL! is surprisingly caring at times (: and when she shows it, you get a really nice feeling knowing that people like her actually sort of look out for you. haha and she's super-duper-uper funny! the way she BURSTS out (or squawks XD) super randomly and EXTREMELY loudly at totally un-funny jokes no matter where she is. even in crowded adam road hawker centres during the lunch hour on saturdays =D and how everything she does is hilarious la. i can just conjur an image of val running in her aunty style waddle and laugh to myself (which, believe it or not, can appear quite strange when there are people around me when i do that). yay val =)

time

"like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives"

bintan was refreshing. its been something like 7 years since i was there playing laserquest with jerry and whoever else from our AG. i think its one of the more memorable cny trips with my extended family, probably because there wasn't any place to spend the whole day shopping at and we had to find things to do to entertain and amuse ourselves. hmm actually the only things we did were
1) play laserquest x4
2) cycle around the whole resort x2
3) go to the beach x2
4) mug x3
5) play bluff x1
6) play table tennis x1 (i'm really quite good =D)
7) play table soccer xinfinity
8) hit some balls at the driving range x1 (where i discovered my hidden talent once again XD)
9) shop minimally
10) eat
and i think we had a decent lot of exercise through all our running about. and maybe somewhat of a tan. heh. i'm so inspired to exercise more and train. anyway i think us cousins grew closer through this trip. yay. (on a side note, its really sad and frustrating when boyfriends/girlfriends/etc take priority over family)

here's some random thought that has been on my mind (something quan or suet or someone said to me when i was lamenting over the annoying inefficiency and lameness of council on some occasion): when people are passionate about something and really believe in what they are doing, it always shows in the end-product/result of their work. so like in chorale where i'm sure everyone sincerely cares about the choir, we always manage to plan wonderful farewells and exchanges and come up with amazingly pro 50+ page proposals for camp and have exciting and enjoyable camps even when we face setbacks. i suppose thats why external games for our camp was allowed whereas those proposed by other CCAs for their camps were rejected =DDD hooray for us!

oh yeah and we had a fun time at our half-class outing on tuesday at fish&co and the arcade in dhoby ghaut mrt. haha who thought para para and ddr could be so exciting and fun XD and besides the earth-shattering revelation later that night, i<3M (:

i can't remember the other thought provoking thing that was on my mind but nvm. yay photos!
