anti-depressants

today was mildly sucky compared to the previous week. got back bio..didn't do as well as expected as usual >.< after school went with chorale people to watch RV-Trinity College (from australia) choir exchange performances in RI LT1. not bad turn-out, LT was totally packed. think there were dunman sec and SAC choir people there too. the few of us had to stand at the back coz wasn't much space and wouldn't be able to see if we sat down. then when rv went on stage to sing nella fantasia followed by lukluk, i sort of remembered for that moment why i loved rv so much (and still do). and it was really nice to see them improve so much. maybe has something to do with our batch leaving :( anyway their songs were not bad, and luk luk choreo looked somewhat more expressive than the last time i saw them (SYF day early morning in LT3). seems like such a long time ago. anyway half of me wishes i was still in rv..and even though i may seem like i'm quite detached from rv already and more in chorale, i really really miss rv and the people there. sigh i hope i don't act like i don't care about them anymore =s

trinity college choir was quite good..chapel choir apparently. nice chords and stuff when they did sacred pieces and church music. there was a sop soloist for "be thou my vision" which was very nice too. haha and val was fangirl-ing about some bass guy in the choir (new addition to her list of "handsomes" XD). too bad didn't have this kind of exchange when we were in rv..except for the time with iona voices (from australia too i think). overall had a good time there..oh and dropped by to say hi to rv people after it. could see that a lot of them have grown quite a lot over the past 6 months, which is good i suppose. after all people do move on. sigh...................

went for NSW english after that and met quan and chng min and geena and luvy and PANG ERN there. some really annoying lady teacher was invigilating..kept shouting at us to sit down, and hurry up, and get ready, and write name as in i/c and class and what not. paper wasn't too difficult..but lit students definitely have an advantage. how would i know what a sonnet or hyperbole is -.- i still fail to fathom how people can finish the 1 hour 60 mcq paper in 35min though.

on a side note, i have resolved to become a super mugger from now till promos (not counting next year) and get at least B for everything! yay..fear me smart people! ouch my brain hurts :(

weekend..finally

another sad day in a sad week. the few laughing/happy moments this week were like sort of superficial too..like laughing at the people laughing at the occasionally stupid things i do =.= ok shall not go into that depressing area. haha cannot whine or rant..otherwise mrs v. will ask me go to dahfour (somewhere in india i think) and experience life there -.-

past 2 days have been quite bland, except for the minor changes in timetable and the fire drill this morning. haha it took 25 minutes for a school of population 2500 + 300 staff to evacuate and for teachers to comb the school and find stray kids in toilets, which apprently is quite a decent timing. for a fire drill. there'd probably be charred bodies lying around the school if we took this long to get out of burning buildings in the event of a fire. heh.

ok school is starting to suck again with more CT results coming in, and the consequences they bring. hmm i'm going back to looking forward to short term stuff like events and outings to keep myself going. yay tomorrow go wander around bishan after meeting then go YF! thank God for friends...ok val i shall stop here so you can stop eagerly anticipating reading my blog >.<

first proper day of term 3

today sucked..a lot. first day of school proper with lessons and they return CT papers. somehow lasted through the 2 tutorials with 2 papers and tutoring at marymount convent. finally broke down just before dinner and hid in my room for a while..first time in a long time ever felt so down

O.o hello!

HI. haha its been quite a while..and i shall skip all the really significant events that have occured between day after concert and now! (like SYF and all its horrors and CTs)

yay ok on to the insignificant stuff that have been really meaningful.

1) chorale chalet!!! 4-5 june. was a blast. had lots of fun skewering chicken wings for bbq and letting stray mother cats listen to ave maria recording XD and of course the not sleeping which was a first (totally not sleeping through the night) and going to the beach at 6 to watch the nice colourful sunrise which was very very nice and which we took lots of photos of. and walking along the beach and writing font size 1500 words in the sand and just taking in the atmosphere :p oh and we went to the playground nearby which was nice and had like ropes and the rope thing to climb and spinning things and swings and stuff. hahahahaha ok it was really really nice...

2) ORA walkathon. was quite amusing..waited forever for the actual walking to start. and the bishan eew person was there in some ORA polo shirt! lol with his stomach hanging over his belt naturally and looking really perverse as usual. walked with weiren at some snail's pace around RGS campus and pitied the poor little ri bb boys who were road marshalling (the sec 1s i mean) while the older bb pigs were slacking on the grass. finished the really boring walk then walked around looking at the stalls, then met quan and fiona (rg choir junior) and yifan and guanwei (hmm i think it was guanwei) and sat down together to chat. haha and geoffrey conned me into buying some poisoned chocolate coated marshmallow from his class booth. hahahaha ok didn't really die la. gave it to quan XDD um then suet came along and we went exploring after weiren left..stoned and looked really bored while suet and quan visited their old (really boring) classrooms which somehow were very sentimental to them 8-) and i was wondering why i stare at my old classroom in ri and i fail to think of anything remotely nice about it -.- ok that's about it..i think. met rv sec 1 and other juniors there too. haha sort of enjoyable i guess

3) chorale j1 batch outing! ok not really batch outing..more like batch lunch at BK then guys went to watch movie. went plaza sing after ORA walkathon to watch spiderman 3 which was quite fun. haha julian enjoyed himself the most learning chinese from me during the movie =D after that just walked around a bit then left..zzz...

4) Zion golden jubilee camp!! yay my church camp in malacca (50th anniversary)..haven't been to church camp for like n number of years. was great..learnt a lot, made new friends, discovered new things, got inspired and fired up somewhat, learnt more things, learnt to appreciate more things and people, and had lots of fun!!! ok too many details shan't make this entry longer than it already is. but it was really a great experience after not going for so long, refreshing too! and lots of fun!!! you get the idea...

5) i shall skip today's highly enjoyable events due to certain events that have yet to run its course (:

6) COMMON TESTS AFTER JUNE HOLIDAYS SUCKS. totally had lots of time to enjoy ourselves...then have to keep worrying about not mugging enough or whatever with constant reminders from parents >.< rawr what a relaxing holiday

yay ok i've updated my blog after...err...(acts like a humanities student)..ehh...about 2 and a half months!! woot i'll try to update about once a week. haha hopefully it won't stagnate again =) ok back to school tomorrow..oh wait, today. yawnz.....ciao
