hey...finally got sum stress off my back...stil quite burdened...but i guess dats 1 of life's troubles u hv 2 face eventually...but its stil handleable...i suppose...i tried 2 make e correct decision...but dunno whether i shld hv done wad i did...but im glad i did tho...but shld i hv even wanted it in e 1st place? peer pressure? friends? company? enjoyment? i really dun noe wad it is now...
ok apart frm dat its been quite e same as usual...had prefect investiture 2dae after lunch...saw daniel yeang (long lost friend frm p3 - ACS(I)) coz prefects frm other schs were invited 2 dis 'formal occasion'...at least dats wad e teachers (esp JN) kps saying...but he didnt c me...so sad...den after dat wanted 2 go find him with chee jun n zw but JN held us back so by e time went 2 atrium only a few pple left...so den went 4 prac...not bad at 1st...but den toh got pissed again coz pple wernt turning up (lyk ARUUN!!!) n den reauditions 4 pple who failed 1st time...not me of course...haha...quite long lah...den e rest of us jus sit around do nothing n occasionally b xtra a help e groups who were short of a section...haha...chris seriously cannot make it lah...too soft den nvr learn properly...lee he stil ok...ker sheng ah...dunno...wasnt really listening...or mayb couldnt hear...argh wadeva lah...den had announcements n stuff...ensemble got prac wed nite again...den fri got prac at nite...den on wed ensemble hv 2 bring e clothes we wanna wear 4 concert so can check...haha...oh yeah 4got...e prefect investiture after dey said e pledge n wadeva den e prefects did sum REALLY REALLY funky dance...haha...wow...den sang institution anthem...den did unite cheer...sort of...not really much space in between chairs...n jon n benoi n ian n joshua were standing there looking stupid n saying stupid things among themselves as usual...always lyk dat when got cheer...aiyoh...ok anywayz where was i? oh yeah...i gtg do stuff...lyk laze around...vry sleepy...*yawnz* bb!

hey...im blogging again coz im having a really bad time now...feel as tho i've got no1 2 turn 2 with my troubles...really dunno wad 2 do or feel now...its as tho theres really nothing 2 look forward 2...its lyk u noe theres no1 who can help...nothing they can do...really stressed out...den there're so many things 2 do...n a lot of things overlap so sumthng will hv 2 b compromised which is not a solution at all......jus hv 2 let time close dis episode n move on.......................

prac prac n more prac!
ello...i realised i've been blogging quite consistently now...haha...havent blogged abt rv prac 4 a long time...haha...since e rg combined i think...so anywayz we've been practising lyk crazy coz concerts nex sat...yeah...so its lyk mondae wed n sat...averaging abt 4-5 hrs each dae...den ensemble practised last wed nite til lyk...10pm...so tired...den 2dae i jus got back...(we started at 7.30 dis morn).......its not dat i mind e long hrs...jus dat it can b leeeeetle tiring...n theres not a lot of time 2 do wk n stuff...so 2dae we had combine with rj coz they'll b in e concert too...k den it was quite alrite...after dat went 2 columbarium 4 lunch (haha) den continue prac till abt 4...den went music lab 2 choose blazers...oh n pple were lyk coming 2 me 4 e masks...dunno how dey knew i had lah...but i sold lyk 18? haha...yeah dats abt it 4 prac...lol
nothing much else 2 say now...except dat theres stil e problem of e geog thing...*sigh*...vry sad lah...stil trying 2 convince...dats all 4 now den...cya nex time...

hi again...really really tired...havent slpt much dis wk...lyk 24hrs? haha...anywayz 2dae's not been such a gd dae...i wont go into details coz kpo pple reading dis may go spread aroud...but e main reason has sumthng 2 do with geog learning journeys trip 2 nz...ok dun tok abt depressing stuff...
ok so sch 2dae was...not too different frm normal sch daez...jus dat quah gave us her eng period 2 do class deco 2 replace e cle period she took last wk...so we basically redid e hse colours board n put up e other starfish papers...den put up lite blue paper 4 e side noticeboard...den went with sylvester 2 bkshop 2 buy bluetack but found out it only opens at 9...it was 8.47...riiiiiiiite....so after dat was maths...tan mui hong's quite a gd tcher...well...at least i can understand wadeva shes teaching...den recess went 2 eat oodles...as usual...didnt go sell tix coz vry hungry...didnt eat breakfast...sry ah guys...den while queueing i was standing behind joon faii...so after a while e queue almost stopped moving...den joon faii realised pple were cutting queue...so he couldnt book them coz he didnt hv e paper thingy n pen...so he was lyk calling other prefects..."hao ran! come...book those guys...they cut queue." "eugene (neo)! come...dat guy and dat guy cut queue...book them 4 cutting...n giv as many pts as u want 4 buying 3 bowls..." err........ok...so den went back 4 chinese...booooooring...got back yue du che yan...my best score in lyk...3 yrs! ...mayb dats bcoz there were pg nos 2 refer 2...ok den was SS...yay...discussed castaway ws...den JS being JS, was lyk......

anywayz its not vry ez trying 2 fit in n stuff...stil trying 2 adjust...especially when u hv dis close friend but u get distanced coz of other pple...it lyk how u wanna b there 4 him when he really nds it...but its really hard 2 coz u noe it jus cant b...it doesnt matter wad other pple think but its still hard...........

correctionz...
yay! i finally got a really nice skin 4 my blog! not bad rite...anywayz im stil trying 2 change stuff...lyk e archives link not hyperlinked dunno y...n colours n font size n stuff...but overall i personally feels dat it is AAKcellent! haha. ok theres nothng much 2 tok abt sch or wadeva else apart frm its been a really bz wk n e total time i've slpt dis wk is lyk less den 20hrs...vry tired...n we're stil doing e class deco...quite nice actually...hv jellyfishes n fishes n bubbles n octupuses hanging frm e ceiling n seaweed n rocks n other stuff on e noticeboards...haha. den we (ok I) accidentally bought 10 rolls of tracing paper instead of sum backgrnd think...ouch...so tml gonna go popular 2 change 4 vanguard or sumthng...haha...oh yeah...i chatted with sum interesting pple dis wk...abt interesting stuff...haha...btw achar is really lame...so dumb got spas women singing chinese opera...ok gtg do zuo wen n SS ws nowz...cyaz soon!

monotonous?
hey...i decided 2 blog 2dae...not vry nice dae...watching xtreme gourmet now...vry distracting...ok well...we had triple science 2dae....2 daez in a row...so sian = anywayz chem suked...coz sumthng nto so pleasant happened...(notice e dullness of dis entry) but u dun hv 2 noe anythng bout dat...haha...notice i've been trying 2 make my blog look nicer...stil trying 2 get a nice skin tho...n i cant find e html 4 dis really nice song i've got...so...*sigh*...OH SICK IAN'S EATING A FOETUS!! eeeeeeeeeew...............goat foetus...yuk...lol...oh yeah back 2 sch...during phy t.lai got us 2 make sort of name plates? yeah...so she noes our names...aw so sad. haha. den jon was trying 2 act cool again...got new billabong (or ripcurl...cant rmbr) pencil box...haha...den so unnatural around SUM pple...den play with hp during class somore...tut tut...haha...den after sch supposed 2 do class deco...but den lyk evry1 left coz got training den i didnt hv staples so couldnt do lorz...den mdm ong asked me/wai sum 2 sweep e class n sort of clean up...coz vry dirty u c...den we didnt hv a dustpan...so wai sum borrowed frm nex dr...but it was cracked...so when try 2 sweep in e dust n dirt jus got swept under...so stoooooopid...nvm if u dun noe wad im toking bout...nothing really interesting lah...oh yeah...den after SS yesterdae when we were lyk gonna leave, it was lyk......

boooooooring.......
yo wuzzup pple...its been quite a boring wk...not vry eventful...(or at least nothing REALLY interesting happened)...anyhow...i found out more abt sum pple in class...heh heh...eg. chris n philbert n co arnt as innocent as they look...lol...zhuang yi has a lyks dis girl (i shant say her name) but doesnt noe or doesnt wan pple 2 noe whether e feeling is mutual n whether they really r a pair...haha...shhh...dun tel him i said dat hor...den 4 sum farny reason pple lyk 2 think of me as a teddy bear...erm...nvm...
ok anywayz...jus saw LZ yesterdae outside LT2 jus b4 SS...realised its e 1st time dis yr i've seen him...n he kps avoiding e question of y he didnt go OBS........probably sick or sumthng...but mayb other reasons? wonder y...hm...den found out dat justina's back! yay! (ex) 2D n 2E monitors organised lunch with justina at fish n co on sun...dunno y our class CEC didnt...well...mayb we will hv our own class lunch? haha...but noeing dem it wld b rather...erm...impossible? lol
anywayz...sumthng...quite interesting happened last fri...we had our 1st SS lesson with JS...so when she jus came in evry1 was lyk "shh! shh!"...quite scary at 1st when she was lyk warning us of e rules n stuff...but den she started intros...shes quite or mayb vry up to date...didnt noe she plays com games! n/or video games...(heroes n onimusha) but den she kp saying lyk she plays coz e main char is cute...or e warcraft 1 char's voice is vry charming...or sumthng lyk dat...lol...realised shes quite a nice person after all...incredibly farny most of e time...so den it was our turn 4 intros...*sigh*...at least 1 was 1 of e last...when it finally got 2 my turn, it went sumthng lyk dis.........

OBS experience (cont.)
hey again...dis is a continuation of e OBS sec 3 orientation...here goes...
Day 3...
-woke up early again n unpitched tents
-had breakfast at cook house again
-rather tasteless bee hoon, sausage, n hot milo...oh btw bala was last 2 queue up AS USUAL so evry1 had 2 wait 4 him...lol
-morning circle with marco polo at 'orchard road'- shared past days events n thots (i wrote e 1st entry coz i was 1st dae i/c) den had some blessings thing...cant rmbr e exact name but evry1 had 2 say a blessing 4 anythng (eg. no rain, no injuries, bless dat evry1s' blessing wld come true...blah blah)
-did finger wrestling with partners - 2 pple clasp hands n point index finger at other person...objective is 2 try 2 touch other person with index finger
-started 1st activity of e dae - tripod obstacle course...practiced baleying n wadeva stuff on ground 4 abt an hr...(wasted a lot of time) b4 actually starting on e thing...there were 3 so called bridges - 1st was a rope u had 2 cross n there was another rope u cld hold on to...2nd was a log...3rd n e hardest was a real type of bridge with lyk tiny planks 2 step on...which was vry wobbly......harold quite scared of heights so fell at 3rd bridge...den gave sylvester rope burn...lol...other spectacular person was jason...more or less ran across e 1st 2 bridges...making record time...n on 3rd bridge tried 2 jump frm platform unto e 1st shape (pentagonal shaped thingy resting on e planks)...but fell...unfortunately i was e baleyer...lol...den managed 2 climb up again...den attempted 2 run across e rest of e bridge...den fell again...finally pulled himself back up n completed e obstacle course...(btw he was e last guy 2 go coz there wasnt enough time so 4 of us didnt get 2 try)
-by dat time it was already lunch time...so went 2 cook house 4 lunch...den packed our stuff n got rdy 4 another hike 2 e northern-most part of pulau ubin, facing JB...but 1st had 2 fill our jerry cans (4) full with water n deposit dem near e jetty 2 b picked up by a boat n delivered 2 nex campsite coz there wldnt b any drinkable water there...
-set off with euge navigating AGAIN...not bad lah...got there in reasonably gd time...jus dat he lyks 2 walk faster n doesnt really take notice of pple lagging behind so had 2 call him 2 slow downo r wait a couple of times...
-reached e campsite near e sea n changed into our wet attire again den put all our bags together n covered dem with e tarp...
-went down 2 shed nearby 2 get stuff 4 making a raft (8 long solid plastic poles n 4 large barrels) n brot dem down 2 e (haunted) quarry...started 2 discuss how 2 make e raft so dat it cld support 16 of us + louis...had 1 hr 15mins 2 do it...but spent too much time listening 2 rahul n bala n dunno hu telling us abt plans 2 make e raft n which half e pple wernt listening coz we more or less already knew how we were supposed 2 make e raft...
-used rope 2 tie poles together den added e barrels...by den was already overtime so had 2 get an extension...
-time 4 testing e raft...louis did e 'shake' test n e 'kick' test...all e barrels except mayb 1 were shaking lyk siao...so louis actuall failed us...but he gave us another extension 2 redo e barrels n it came out ok...but there wasnt enough time 2 test it out...so we jus dismantled it n opted 2 go hv a dip in e quarry (which had been deserted 4 a long long time so became a freshwater lake) ...had lots of fun swimming around 4 a while n playing 'orange' polo (throw an orange around) but euge kevin n some 2 others didnt get in coz dey 'didnt hv a change of clothes'
-so we put e raft stuff back n went 2 pitch tents...using rocks again coz ground was too hard...den changed into nice dry clothes n ate dinner (canned sausages, buns, biscuits, bread etc...) n there was a rather exciting scene going on in harold/ser zheng/zhuang yi/joseph's tent...lol...u wld probably wanna noe wad happened but i wont tel u...ask 1 of dem...n zhuang yi spilled their can of sausages so e whole tent was stinking of sausages...(e tent incident has somethng 2 do with e erm...sausage thingy...) but anyway harold was hugging ser zheng 2 slp or somethng...n there were farny noises coming frm their tent but...well....lets leave it at dat...
-louis came 2 check on us n told us dat place was called HDB coz last time HDB bought dat land n wanted 2 build condos there or dunno wad but decided not 2...den he told us e ghost story abt e quarry n i was really freaked out (dunno bout evry1 else tho) n some more i was standing rite outside of e circle we formed...eeeeeeeeeee...so i was lyk *tug* *tug*...dont ask wad dat is...but come 2 think of it e ghost story sounds really stupid now...but in dat atmosphere (dark n facing e dark dark forest) it was really really creepy...anywayz den he told us a true story abt how at dat same place last yr when he was taking a grp of RGS girls n were camping at e big gate, a wild boar came n charged at dem...haha...
-so after louis left we went 2 slp (or at least tried 2) but bala was even more freaked out abt e ghost thing den me n he was supposed 2 slp nex 2 e tent window...lol...so he kept coming over 2 e middle n sitting there...wanted 2 b sentry...haha...den finally he went 2 lie down further away frm e window...but den kevin told him dat if he left a space there e old woman (frm e ghost story) wld come slp nex 2 him...LOL...so he got really freaked out AGAIN...thx kevin...den when we finally almost got 2 slp...music started playing frm i think 1 of e boats at sea...1st played happy birthdae song...den started on some chinese/english/malay songs...den at abt 1 in e morn i woke up den heard Usher's Yeah playing...can b a little scary...n geng yu tried 2 b helpful n shouted over 2 me dat it was e old woman n old monks wedding songs...er......so anywayz...i got a few hrs of slp...mayb abt 3? coz i woke up alot of times during e nite n morn...dunno y...but generally i was quite peaceful during e nite...except 1 time when i woke up i heard harold toking 2 some1 in his tent...zhuang yi i think...so...yeah...dats abt it...
Day 4...
-woke up early again (i mean i woke up vry early...abt 5.20?)...so it was still quite dark...went outside 2 stretch n check if any1 else was awake...apparently i was e only 1...but after a while rahul came out too...(oh btw if u c rahul say somethng farny abt fruitcake n he'll go into a fit...of laughter...haha)
-went 2 ser zhengs tent n saw dat they werent gaying anymore! haha...at least when i went 2 c they were lying SEPARATELY...haha
-at abt 5.50 more pple woke up so it wasnt so lonely n when we finally got bala n e other 2 slpyheads 2 wake up we started 2 unpitch tents n clear up e campsite...
-den had 2 fill up all water bottles with jerry can but still had 3 more jerry cans 2 empty coz we couldnt possibly lug dem with us back 2 camp 2...so we emptied e water...n used some 2 wash face...hands...etc
-got rdy 2 leave...n even tho we were e last watch 2 leave...we were e 1st 2 arrive at camp 2...yay...so had our breakfast/lunch/brunch of biscuits n hard/flattened bread n got our climbing stuff n went 2 e commitment n challenge park 2 do e flying fox...
-marco polo went 1st so we belayed n braked...belaying was really tiring on e arms coz it was quite a long way up 2 climb so we had 2 change belayers quite often...
-flying fox was quite fun...tho it was over in lyk 2 sec it was exhilarating...apart frm dat ser zheng got a center parting on his face - a line down e middle of his face coz of whiplash...actually i was a little scared lah...but it WAS a long way up n i Am a bit scared of heights...
-so dat took abt 2 n a half hrs...den after dat we rested 4 a while n took some more ecstasy...which included milo powder, ovaltine powder, chrysanthemum tea powder n isotonic drink powder...symptoms of ecstasy users include uncontrollable shaking of heads with eyes half closed...haha...went 2 chat with zhun wen n guys at columbus coz dey were pitching tents there too...found out a bit abt techniques 2 complete DDD
-started next activity - Double Dangle Duo, where we raced against marco polo 2 c who could accumulate 600pts 1st 2 win...we had 2 pair up n climb sort of a log ladder...jus dat e logs were long n e spaces between 2 logs were quite far apart n got worse...but me n euge managed 2 get 2 e 2nd last log (5th) b4 quitting coz we cldnt reach e nex log...not bad tho...btw each log was worth 10 pts...
-overall altho marco polo was leading, we eventually got 600 pts 1st coz they wasted a lot of time tying knots...haha...AW...but e pts thing was jus 4 fun...den we had sort of a reflection on e activity...
-after dat...we had 2 do stores again...coz we were leaving e next dae...so sad...so we cleared evrythng on time...den went 2 pitch tents...but when we were abt 2 go, it started drizzling...so we waited till it was lighter den went up 2 pitch...our tent was outside
-most of all e tents AS USUAL 4 some farny reason...n ser zheng decided 2 join us so we had 5 pple in 1 tent...yay! so fun...
-got our cooking stuff n started 2 cook noodles...n ate canned sardines...not bad actually...me euge ser zheng n kevin shared a mess tin...so dont nd 2 wash so much...den kev n euge dunno how 2 eat 1 so dropped noodles all over e place...almost finish eating dat time e rain started 2 get really heavy...so we quikly finished up n left e cooking stuff at e cooking site 1st...2 soak in e rain? lol...so we stayed in our tent 4 abt 10 mins den e rain slowed 2 a drizzle again...bad time 2 go camping actually...so we went 2 ask louis 4 an extension 1st...den went 2 wash stuff...
-louis checked our cooking stuff n store den we went 2 hv a shower n change...after dat went 2 mph 4 a debrief...each person shared their feelings n thots n wadeva...den b4 going back 2 our tents, we did a bala cheer...LOL...vry lame tho...haha...louis was lyk - !? :D
-went back 2 tent...euge was complaining bout it being too cramped blah blah...but dats him being natural...so we chatted 4 a while den ser zheng, being a natural slper, said we shld slp early...but den b4 dat when we were still outside he was saying lyk e pathway 2 e forest which was visible 2 us frm our tent had a sign pole there...n looked lyk a person...e old monk in particular...so...u shld b able 2 guess wad happened again...*sigh* after a while managed 2 fall aslp lah...i was facing e window so cld c e flying fox...
-middle of e nite, i woke up...im gd at sensing stuff...it was raining!!! heard voices frm other tents.........person: our tent is flooded lah...faster go store n slp...person: argh! im wet!den i woke up e rest in e tent...saw dat there was a small puddle forming at our feet n heads...but didnt really affect any1...EXCEPT ME!!! i was slping in e MIDDLE so lyk our tent was sort of slanting inwards toward e MIDDLE so basic physics wld tel u dat water flow frm a higher place 2 a lower place...meaning e MIDDLE...meaning ME!!! so my feet were lyk sort of in a puddle...not dat any1 cared =( so i more or less didnt get a gd nites slp...den some more pple complain........euge: dont complain lah...my pants r wet ok...i slping at e entrance some morekev: stop squashing me lah bala...
Day 5...
-aiyah...anywayz...we survived till morn...by den it was stil drizzling but cldnt b helped...so quickly unpitched den brot evrythng 2 outside store...
-packed n cleared evrythng...washed tents...hung stuff up 2 dry...blah blah...but e previous dae we hung up our life vests behind e stores outside 2 dry...but it rained...so...yeah...all in all we only lost 1 whistle, 3 tent pegs, n a hiking pole...so each person had 2 pay $0.25...lol
-we gathered 4 1 of e last times as a watch n paid 4 e photos n stuff n got back our valuables...
-we finished packing our own bags n assembled at e souvenir shop where we got 2 buy souvenirs! (i got a mug n a cap)
-now 4 e most exciting part of e dae...hao yang (THE gay) went 2 climb all over louis n kissed him!!!!! den after e 1st time he tried 2 do it again...but daphne got jealous (haha) n was lyk 'oy enough ah...hes mine already hor' ....LOL...
-oh well...after dat we got onto a boat in grps 2 go 2 camp 1...2 hv our 'finale'
-we had lunch 1st at cook house (our last meal together...sniff sniff)...den assembled in mph 4 a briefing on e activities...which werent vry interesting or nice...(sry comm...but its true!) den we reassembled in mph 4 e 'most interesting' part of e finale...watching some guys 2 a redox reaction (coz redox is our orientation theme)...i wonder HU it was hu cld come up with such lame stuff...anywayz we watched some glowing foam produced...lol...den we were given cans of soft drink (WOW! surprise surprise) 2 drink...obviously
-after evrythng we boarded e boat 4 sg in 60s coz dats how big e boat is...but me n 4 others missed e 2nd boat coz not enough space...so we were at e jetty with louis daphne n another lady instructor...so louis was lyk.......louis: bennett can u sing 4 us? (den to other instructors)...hes supposedly e best singer in RI...me: huh? wad?louis: ok wad if i tell u 2 pple r gonna b engaged? can u sing or at least hum sort of a wedding tune or somethng?me: (softly 2 myself)huh? u n daph ah? haha...(out loud) dun wan lah...other kpo pple (harold/ser zheng/kev/jeffrey): jus go lah! *harold tries 2 pull me out frm behind e pillar...*sigh* yeah...so dats dat...in e end i didnt sing...sry lah...den louis left 4 dunno where...oh btw it was raining again...after a while e boat came back n we n others boarded...back 4 home...alighted at punggol jetty n took coach back 2 sch...
ok pple dats abt it 4 our sec 3 OBS orientation...hope u had fun reading it...lol...dun wan 2 make it sound bad so may sound a little dull compared 2 my other last yr lame entries...haha...anywayz i WILL b blogging some more...occasionally...so check in soon! cyaz!

phew!
hey pple...havent blogged in a realli realli long time...got quite sian of it...but i suddenly got inspired again after blog surfing...anywayz...dont rd my other entries i coz i jus realised how lame dey r...so...now quite into e new yr already...sec 3...new class...new friends...new teachers...wait...1st must tel bout THE OBS EXPERIENCE!!!
Day 1...
-took a boat 2 pulau ubin
-carried wad i tot at first was my heavy backpack (dat was until i tried carrying e OBS camping bag...lol) 2 mph at camp 2 (original OBS campsite)
-waited 4 other pple 4 abt an hr
-intros n assigned watch instructors...(btw i was in COOK...yeah!)
-instructor was Louis...nice guy...(we think he n daphne, marco polo instructor, r lyk...erm...together? haha)
-did all e admin stuff...food rations...stores...assign roles...(i was 1st dae i/c) had lunch...
-did sherpa's walk (buddy up n lead blindfolded partner around...under stuff...over drains etc...)
-changed into climbing attire - pe tshirt, long pants, helmet, seat harness n met louis at baleying poley thingies...
-tried baleying n climbing n learnt baley calls.........

-by e time we were done it was time 2 go pitch tents...b4 it got dark...
-took 4 tent bags (+ tents of course) 2 'Sunrise Valley' n learnt 2 pitch tents
-took cooking stuff frm store (pots, mess tins, food stuff, solid fuel, lighter, toothpaste...serious)
-smeared toothpaste on bottom of pots n mess tins so wont b too sooty...
-louis helped us cook a little...cooked curry chicken rice/porridge...quite nice actually...jus dat bottom was burnt so had 2 scrap off e burnt rice n soot after dat...
-cleaned n scrubed pots n stuff...
-met at mph 4 medical briefing by Belinda...vry farny...haha
-washed up n had some mental excercise thing with louis opp blok 7 (instructors blok) n briefed on how 2 pack camping bag effectively
(dis is too longwinded...im gonna try 2 cut down...im sounding too dull too did u notice?...mayb jus tired...it is 11.30pm after all)
Day 2...
-managed 2 wake up at 6 coz ser zheng's tent was all up n chatting already...n coz im a vry lite slper during camps...
-was drizzling a bit so tried 2 wake up euge bala n kevin...to no avail...so i grabbed torchlite n zhao 2 store 1st...
-packed stuff 4 hiking trip...by den started 2 pour...den lyk e 3 slpers were stil in e tent...
-got a little worried bout 3 of dem coz it was 7.15 o'clock n we were supposed 2 meet louis at 8...so asked hao yang (day 2 i/c) 2 go call dem...
-had breakfast (bread DIPPED in jam) n waited 4 rest 2 finish...
-e 3 guys FINALLY appeared walking under our tent groundsheet at 7.30...........i was lyk!?!?!?!?
-so...met louis 4 hiking briefing...sort of...den filled up 2 bottles of 2 litre bottles each n finished packing all necessary stuff...
-rain finally stopped n we packed tents n started off on hike...
-euge n rahul navigated (euge: coz im a scout n scouts r better at navigation n evrythng else)...
-apart frm several spiders which freaked euge out...we managed 2 reach camp 1 on time although we were quite tired frm e hike n heavy load...(not used 2 it yet lah...)
-started 1st activity...raft escape...evry1 had 2 move frm e beginning 2 e end of a short dist by only stepping on bricks n planks (dont ask how) but didnt manage 2 complete...got halfway 1 time tho.......lack of communication? leadership initiative?......
-btw our buddy watch was marcol polo so we basically did evrythng with dem...
-had lunch of biscuits (again...*sigh*) n milo powder (ecstasy...haha) den prepared 4 kayaking...changed into wet attire - pe tshirt, shorts, wet shoes, SUN BLOCK!!!
-had briefing on how 2 kayak n stuff...den finally dragged our kayaks 2 e 'set-off' point...n after some more warnings n practising capsizing...we paddled out 2 some boat where we 'rafted-up'
-den we kayaked 2 another spot...following daphne...den did e capsizing excersize again n tried 2 un-capsize e kayak by doing e t-shape thingy...overall was vry fun...oh n we got 2 chase daphne n louis at sea coz louis said if we managed 2 'catch' any1 of them they wld do wadeva we wanted...(as long as it was moral)...we DID manage 2 corner daphne but after catching her she purposely(?) capsized so e game was over...but we also managed 2 catch louis :P
-after rinsing n putting back e kayaks we went 4 e once in a lifetime 'jetty jump' experience! sounds scary rite? well...it was abt 3m high...speaks 4 itself doesnt it...but there WERE catfish n jellyfish swimming around n 1 or 2 pple were chased after by them but nothing happened...
-den we went 2 bathe n pitch tents again coz it was getting dark...we pitched outside OBS land rite at e edge/corner of e place...so it could get rather scary at nite + there were no lites AT ALL...also had 2 use large rocks 2 support e tents coz e grnd was too hard 2 bash tent pegs into...so our tent was sagging a little but gd thing it didnt rain so we managed 2 stay dry...
-after pitching we went 4 dinner at e cook house...food was FABULOUS!!! (relatively...)...quite farny too lah...coz supper later was lyk...half an hr after dinner...lol
-after supper at 9 somethng, we went 2 'orchard road' 4 another mental game...each person was given a clue n we were supposed 2 solve 2 questions...not bad lah...managed 2 get 1 answer correct...other answer was close but not quite...den went back 2 tents 2 get rdy 4 slp...was drizzling a little 4 a while...den stopped...thank God...turned in after e usual blabbering of bala...
ok its already 12:07am 16/1/05 so i better go slp...hv 2 wake up early 4 church...day 3-5 cont tml...cya den!
